Transport means

According to your way of transportation, you will get several solutions to arrive:

By car : if you arrive from the east or the north of France, you will take the motorway that will drive you up to Bordeaux ring road. You will turn the exit 26, in direction of Arcachon-Bayonne. It will take you 60 km, around 1h by car from the ring road to reach the Villa Parentis.

By Train: You will arrive at the Bordeaux Saint Jean Station, 60 km from Parentis. Trains are leaving Bordeaux everyday to reach the station "Facture" that is close to Arcachon.

By plane : Bordeaux Mérignac Airport is served by many airway companies. Click on the links page to see the site of Bordeaux Airport.

Ocean and Lakes

Local access plan to Biscarosse-Parentis.

The house is based "Route de Lahitte", very close to the south lake of Biscarosse.

As you can see on the picture on the left, from Lahitte, you can go walking up to the south lake (some 500m walking) or ride along the cycling road that borders the south lake on the eastern shore. It will lead you up to the villages of Gastes or Sainte Eulalie.If you wish to go swimming on the north lake, on the eastern shore (Sanguinet village) or on the west shore (Port Maguide), you will need to drive 10 to 15min along the Lake road (D652) to reach these beaches.

If you want to admire the great ocean beaches of Biscarosse, you will make the most of the superb scenery of the winding road that will lead you up to the ocean(D146).
