Parentis spreads aloong the 2nd biggest lake of the Landes region. You will appreciate the activities proposed to the kids : sailing, playground, supervised swimming and if desired, boatriding to discover the lake and its scattered oil wells, its wild shores, the story of the big lakes and the epic stoy of the aircraft industry and more specifically of the hydroplane manufacturing that started right here.

The Pyla dune

The Pyla dune is 107 m high and the highest in Europe .At the top of the Dune, the scenery is just amazing, You will admire on one side the ocean coast, the entrance channels of the Arcachon basin, and on the other site the great view of the big "Landaise Forest".
On the very clear days, if you are lucky, you will get to see the Pyrénées mountains!

Ever since a dozen years, this site has also become the departure place for paragliding lovers.
